About Us

We each have our own unique backgrounds and vastly different viewpoints on things.

We bring our different perspectives to the table to best serve our community, with no hidden agendas.

I’ve lived in West Creek since 2013. I’m a software engineer at Abbott, a medical device company in Sylmar, and have served as the President of our HOA Board of Directors since 2018.

I’m fortunate to work with my fellow Board members Stacey Brenner and Vikram Pai. Together, we’ve worked diligently to manage the transition from multiple builders to a 1,997-home HOA-owned community. This handoff has required that we not only make landscape enhancements, safety improvements, and upgrades to community facilities, but also safeguard the long-term health and stability of the Association.

We’ve taken on this challenge by investing in things that protect our capital assets, minimizing maintenance costs, reducing risk, and by making prudent financial decisions. In addition, we’ve spent considerable effort building and strengthening relationships with vendors to ensure accountability, reasonable prices, and excellent service.

This effort has resulted in our Association now holding $7 million in total assets, $1+ million in operating cash, and $5+ million in reserves. Our community is well-managed, well-maintained, and is one of the premier places to live in Santa Clarita. More importantly, we have ensured that our Association is able to handle whatever the future brings and will keep our investments in our homes safe and secure.

I moved to West Creek in 2020 and love this family-oriented community. I bring 17 years of experience in corporate finance, and currently work as a Director of Finance for a large company. I also bring 12 years of experience serving on a previous HOA board – 6 years as Treasurer and 6 years as President.

When I got involved in my prior HOA, there were negative reserves, the HOA was nearing bankruptcy, and was involved in a lawsuit with a homeowner. In addition, there were multiple insurance claims against the HOA from a small group of homeowners that made the Association uninsurable. During my 12-year tenure on the Board, we built up a healthy reserve while completing multiple community improvement projects, finalized the lawsuit in the HOAs favor, recovered funds from the litigation, and resolved the insurance claims in a way that allowed the Association to be insured. In summary, I have immense knowledge on ways to ensure the financial health of an HOA while minimizing legal risks.

Since moving to this wonderful community, I have regularly attended our HOA meetings and have a strong grasp of where our Association is today, and the opportunities and challenges we may face. I know that our Association can benefit from what I can bring to the table. I truly believe in doing what’s best for the community, and that is one of the main reasons I am running alongside Torrance.

We’re proud to work alongside two of our current Board members: Stacey Brenner and Vikram Pai.

Stacey Brenner

I have been a board member since August 2018 and I am currently serving as your Vice President.

I have lived here for six years and have been involved in our HOA as well as West Creek Academy PTA. I want everyone to truly enjoy living here as much as I do!

As a board member, I strive to increase our home values, continue to enhance our common areas, and promote the community/neighborhood by having events that bring us together. I ask pertinent questions, I attend HOA trainings to learn more, I listen to others’ opinions and I try to make the best, well-informed decision that benefits our entire community.

In the past, I have brought such fun events to our community such as: snow day; movie nights; glow stick dance party; operation gratitude, Santa driving through our neighborhood.

As we enter this HOA election, I implore people to filter out the noise to listen to the TRUTH and FACTS.

Vikram Pai

I am Vikram Pai, volunteering on the West Creek West Hills HOA board as your Treasurer since 2017.

It has been an enriching experience to represent the diverse community of homeowners with a variety of different personalities and backgrounds.

I have enjoyed being part of the board which believes in being fair, conscientious and consistent in enforcing regulations. I have always felt the pride to have the ability to play fair, to embrace change, and adapt to these changes. An open communication channel has always been my priority as I have flair for openness and conciliation. I have always tried to help the homeowners, to my best of knowledge, in dealing with their queries/requests.

My strength as a team player has been in running the community smoothly and making right decisions to increase property values for all homeowners. Being abreast with changing laws, liability issues, and responding to community needs in real-time with detailed knowledge and deep understanding has always made a positive impact on the community. My proactive approaches as a team member has contributed to manage challenges, reduce the community HOA fees, and put the community's interest first in enforcing new regulations.

It is a pleasure and joy knowing my neighbors, putting my skills and attitude to work serving the Association, and taking pride in the community I live in!

I am seeking your continuous love, support and trust to build long term value for the community, both socially and financially.

Let’s LIVE, LAUGH AND BE HAPPY!
